Mr. Jeffrey Malone, served as our corporate partnerships intern during our inaugural season from 2019 -2020. This internship assisted Jeff in fulfilling requirements needed for completion of his bachelorette degree from Old Dominion University (ODU).
Jeff began his corporate partnerships internship with us during our inaugural season beginning August of 2019. He was primarily responsible for attracting new partners and sponsors. Jeff used his relationships and research to secure sponsors (such as Family Springs) and partners (Created Players PT) by scheduling appointments to present pre-drafted proposals.
If Jeff could be described in 3 word, they would be coachable, courageous, and humble. In addition to Jeff's role as a corporate partners intern, he took on additional roles voluntarily were needed to ensure the success of the organization.
On December of 2020, Jeff successfully completed all requirements needed to earn his degree. Unfortunately, ODU was unable to host its annual commencement ceremony due to the circumstances at the time. Jeff's graduating class was honored remotely.
On May 6, 2021 Old Dominion held a ceremony for its 2020 graduating class in which Jeff was an honoree.
Jeff leveraged his education, experience, and skills, and into a management training position with the nationally recognized resturant, Chick-Fil-A.
